Privacy and Data Protection Policy and Notice

DebtCompanyReviews.com (the "Site") is owned and operated by Debt Company Reviews, LLC ("Debt Company Reviews," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information and other data when you interact with the Site, our related communications, and any online services that display or link to this notice.

For purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), and similar privacy laws, Debt Company Reviews is the data controller of personal information collected directly through the Site. When we process end-user data strictly on behalf of an advertiser, publisher, or other business partner who directs that processing, we act as their data processor or service provider. Their privacy policy and instructions govern the processing in those situations.

California residents: This Privacy Policy works together with our California Privacy Notice, which provides additional disclosures required by the CCPA/CPRA and explains how to exercise California-specific rights.

If required by law, we obtain appropriate contractual commitments from service providers that limit their use of personal information to the services they perform for us.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies, pixels, local storage, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Site, recognize repeat visitors, remember preferences, analyze traffic patterns, and tailor advertising. 7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer required, we will delete it or irreversibly anonymize it in accordance with applicable law.

8. International Data Transfers

The Site is operated in the United States, and personal information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where we or our service providers maintain facilities. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. We implement appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required by law.

9. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or use. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, network monitoring, and regular review of our security practices. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

U.S. State Privacy Rights (including CCPA/CPRA)

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; to receive information about how we collect, use, disclose, "sell," or "share" personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising; and to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
